Project Scope: Full-Home Furnishings / Art / Rugs / Styling / Plants

Situated atop San Rafael Hills, this contemporary home was recently gut renovated and restored with pristine finishes and smart technology throughout. An Inc. 5000 entrepreneur in the marketing industry, this client gave us a completely blank canvas and free rein to design & furnish their space to better suit their free-spirited lifestyle.

With large open concept schematics, it’s important to section out each zone with a clear understanding of its design ethos and intended function. Each area, though separate, needs to have a confluence of artistic language so that the entire home feels connected and balanced. For this project, we had the luxury to really be creative with every aspect of the interiors — from the material used, to the whimsical style of the furnishings, to custom finishes like wallpaper, paint, and lighting. It was truly a love story to our craft, and we used this opportunity to source pieces from different eras, and rare objects that are one-of-a-kind from collectors around the world. For the main staples, the living room features a Mario Bellini sofa reupholstered in a cognac leather, organic oak coffee table, and the iconic Hans Wegner Flag Halyard chair in the family lounge. Implemented altogether, the result is a space that feels playful, energetic, and highly curated.
