Pasadena, CA
Los Robles Ave
Project Scope: Full-Home Furnishings / Window Treatments / Art / Rugs / Styling
Located in historic Old Town Pasadena, this client’s luxury condominium is part of a new mega residential development to line the skyline. With a modern galley kitchen and warm finishes throughout, the build lends itself to a fully blank canvas for the interior design. As a doctor who works long hours with patients, this client wanted a space that’s monochromatic, tranquil, and organized for minimal maintenance.
We started with a darker, moodier palette for each room, keeping the tones in the same color family for a cohesive design. We implemented solid oak and mango-wood as primary materials for the furniture to soften the mix and give the home a natural element in contrast with the sharp architecture. With an open floorplan, we also added wood acoustic panels in a gunmetal charcoal in the main living space for better sound absorption. The office features a custom-built banquet seating with linen upholstery and grayscale pop-culture prints for a personal touch. The finished home is a perfect urban refuge that’s understated yet sophisticated.
