Penthouse No. 3
Tucked away in a luxury limestone highrise, this transitional penthouse was designed to reflect and honor the rich personal history and enduring legacy of our client, a celebrity athlete with a refined propensity for bold colors and materials. We first met this client serendipitously through a real estate referral, and quickly connected through our shared values in life and family. We quickly understood what it would take to bring this client’s vision to fruition — a cosmopolitan yet understated elegance that is timeless and smart.
We started with the main salon, using a variety of materials like bronze, wood, acetate, acrylic, glass, aged iron, with velvet and Japanese silk as upholstery to balance the masculinity. In the Primary Bedroom, we implemented an amazonian green alligator marble as an entry accent, framed with maroon accent chairs from Costantini Pietro paired with an Oluce Vico Magistretti lamp as a nod to the client’s fond nostalgia of the era.
