A prolific talented Hollywood producer, this client engaged our team to design an interior that feels lived-in and timeless, with a touch of rustic modernism to seamlessly flow with the home’s sharp architecture. With a work schedule that’s often unpredictable and demanding, this client needs a space that is sophisticated, yet relaxing and easy to upkeep. With these parameters in mind, we came together to develop a design that would complement both his work and lifestyle.
The living room boasts a floor to ceiling porcelain fireplace, anchored by a 19th Century antique chair and artifacts around the world, along with texture-rich furnishings to add warmth and depth in contrast to the architecture. The family room is profiled by a dove gray velvet Mario Bellini sofa, petrified solid wood trunks, a shearling and walnut wing chair, and layered with Persian rugs for a multicolored visual interest. The bedrooms feature washed linens and earthy tones for a subdued, calm environment. The result is an unpretentious, cultured interior that ebb and flow with the ever-changing beats of Hollywood.
